Biography

Madison went to law school with the intent that her life’s work be in service of those unjustly denied equal treatment or opportunity. A lifelong Texan, Madison hails from a small town in southeast Texas with few resources available to those lacking the opportunity or ability to advocate for themselves. Growing up, Madison fought to ensure her two brothers, both diagnosed with autism, were always treated with dignity and provided equal opportunity. For her brothers and for anyone else unjustly deprived of their civil rights, Madison is committed to advocating for those denied the equal treatment and protections they deserve.

Madison earned her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. While in college, Madison was a policy intern for Speaker Straus in the Texas House of Representatives and for Speaker Nancy Pelosi in Washington, D.C. In law school, Madison focused on developing her skills in trial and appellate advocacy. She was a Staff Editor for the Texas Journal of Litigation, and as a member of the Texas Law Mock Trial team, she participated in the Civil Rights Mock Trial competition.

After graduating from law school, Madison joined Ellwanger Law for the opportunity to practice law in service of those who need its protection most. Outside of law, Madison enjoys being outside, spending time with family, and singing with her four sisters.
